Manufacturing software built by people who understand UK factories.

We are not consultants and we are not a giant enterprise software vendor. We are a UK team that has built manufacturing software for the factories we grew up in.

Why we exist

Real-time control for real factories

TotalControlPro was founded to solve one problem: SME manufacturers lose millions every year running factories from spreadsheets, whiteboards and yesterday’s reports.

1

Available

Technology that is genuinely within reach for SME manufacturers, deployed over the cloud and live in 90 days, not 18 months.

2

Affordable

Priced for real UK factories, not enterprise budgets. A focused pilot on your most critical line proves the value first.

3

Accessible

Built for the people on the shop floor, with hands-on support and a system that is intuitive from day one.

Our story so far

From a bar in Lisbon to UK shop floors

Thirteen years of building one thing properly, for the people who actually make things.

2013

Founded at a bar in Lisbon

Our founders came together and acknowledged the challenges facing manufacturers. Traditional processes created mountains of paperwork, and spreadsheets were not tracking last-minute changes across factories. Most systems were out of reach for SME manufacturers because of high implementation costs. Total Control Pro Ltd was created to give manufacturers an affordable way to connect Production, Retail and Operations, and track production at every stage from order to dispatch.

2015 – 2016

From on-premises to the cloud

As Industry 4.0 buzzed across the UK, we moved from an on-premises system to a cloud-based SaaS platform to serve the whole supply chain. Deploying over the internet broke down technical and distribution barriers and gave customers a fast return on investment. The team grew, including our very first apprentice, and we showcased at the Industry 4.0 Summit, attracting partners like the Knowledge Transfer Network and Innovate UK.

2017 – 2019

Investment and recognition

We attracted angel investment to grow from a track-and-trace MES into a complete manufacturing system. We expanded the board and moved to the Innovation Centre at the University of Northampton. Our innovation focus was recognised by Innovate UK via the UK Growth Fund, and Co-Founder Dolores Sanders received the Women in Innovation Award.

2020 – today

Six modules, one connected factory

Serving manufacturing clients around the world, the platform now has six interconnected modules and full third-party connectivity, making synchronised production a reality. Our team has grown from two founders to more than 12 people, and our commitment to keeping technology available, affordable and accessible to all manufacturers is as strong as ever.

Questions

About the company

Who is TotalControlPro?
A UK manufacturing software company founded in 2013 and based at Vulcan Works in Northampton. We build DynamxMFG, a Manufacturing Execution System for UK SME discrete manufacturers.
What problem do you solve?
SME manufacturers lose millions every year running factories from spreadsheets, whiteboards and yesterday’s reports. We replace that with real-time production control, from order to dispatch.
Are you backed or recognised by anyone?
Yes. We have taken angel investment and been recognised by Innovate UK via the UK Growth Fund. Co-Founder Dolores Sanders received a Women in Innovation Award, and we were selected for the Innovate UK Global Business Innovation Programme.
Who do you build for?
UK SME discrete manufacturers: precision engineering and CNC shops, aerospace and defence, electronics, automotive suppliers and bespoke joinery. Typically factories that have outgrown spreadsheets but cannot justify a six-figure ERP.
Where are you based?
Vulcan Works, 34–38 Guildhall Road, Northampton, NN1 1EW. We work with manufacturers across the UK and support clients internationally.
How quickly can you get us live?
Ninety days from kick-off, starting with a focused pilot on your most critical line or value stream. You can estimate the return first.
