Boards, drivers and housings,
traced through one build.

DynamxMFG tracks luminaire builds from board and driver through to final test. Every configuration carries its own BOM, every job keeps its component batch history, and test records sit with the fitting they belong to.

Sound familiar?

Two kinds of assembly, one product

Lighting is electronics and metalwork in the same build. The difficulty is keeping component batches, configuration options and test records tied together once the luminaire is boxed.

Electronic and mechanical stages collide

A luminaire needs board assembly, wiring, housing, optics and final test. Running those stages on separate paperwork means nobody sees the whole build in one place.

LED and driver batches get lost

Components arrive in lots with their own bins and tolerances. Once the fittings are boxed, working out which LED batch or driver revision went in becomes guesswork.

Colour consistency across a project

Fittings on the same ceiling have to match. Without batch and bin control at issue, units built weeks apart end up on the same job with a visible difference.

Side by side

Spreadsheets and generic tools vs DynamxMFG

Generic tools were not built for luminaire work, so component batches, configuration variants and test records end up in separate files that nobody can reconcile later.

What you get

Everything a lighting manufacturer needs. Nothing it does not.

DynamxMFG is built around the way luminaire builds actually run, from order release through board assembly, housing, optics and final test.

Works Orders for Luminaire Variants

Each configuration carries its own bill of materials, routing and per operation notes, so output, colour temperature, beam angle and finish are built to the order rather than interpreted. Operators clock on and off each stage, and every step is timestamped against the job.

Replaces: Paper route cards, spreadsheet spec sheets, verbal handovers

Component Batch Traceability

LED, driver and optic batches are recorded against the job at the point of issue, not written up afterwards. If a supplier lot is questioned, you can list the fittings it reached and see which of them have already shipped.

Replaces: Stores ledgers, batch spreadsheets, delivery note folders

Test and Certification Capture

Data capture fields are set per operation for electrical safety results, functional readings and serial numbers. Fields can be made mandatory, so an operation cannot close until the data is in. The certification record builds as the fittings are made.

Replaces: Paper test sheets, sign-off clipboards, retyped certificates

Real-Time Shop Floor Tracking

One dashboard shows every live luminaire job and the stage it has reached, from board assembly and wiring through housing build, optics and final test. When a specifier or contractor calls about a project, you have the answer in seconds.

Replaces: Whiteboards, progress spreadsheets, phone calls to the floor

Binning

Keeping a project's fittings matched

Colour consistency is decided at issue, not at inspection. DynamxMFG records the LED bin and batch used on every job, so units destined for the same project can be held to the same lot rather than whatever happened to arrive that week.

When a run has to be split across several weeks, the history is still there. You can see which bins went into which fittings, group the remaining build to match, and answer a specifier's question without going back through a stores ledger.

Getting started

Live in 90 days, not 18 months

We handle the implementation. Your team stays focused on production. Here is what your first 90 days look like.

DAYS 0-30

Establish visibility and a trusted baseline

The first month replaces spreadsheet chaos and guesswork with a single source of live production data.

DAYS 31-60

Regain control and remove obvious waste

With live data in place, your team shifts from reactive firefighting to data-driven action.

DAYS 61-90

Prove the ROI and prepare to scale

The final phase turns your operational improvements into financial evidence.

What manufacturers say about DynamxMFG

“DynamxMFG is an excellent choice for manufacturers looking to digitise operations without being overwhelmed by complexity.”

Kristopher S
Service Engineer at Protea

“As GMC has grown, it had become harder for me to have such a keen view on components to see if those parts were profitable or not. DynamxMFG enabled us to monitor the machine time and see whether we are making a profit or a loss on each component.”

Paul B
Managing Director at GMC

“The ability to dynamically modify BOMs after release, adding or removing items from work orders, scrapping and reworking parts, has been the single biggest improvement for our business.”

Andrew T
Managing Director at Protea

“We chose the system over competitors because of its ease of use, strong customer support and friendly delivery team. So far, everything has matched what was promised.”

Amy M
Head of Operations at Elite Skills Arena

“With DynamxMFG, all our production processes are tracked and the relevant data is captured. This increases our control over the business and helps us identify more opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.”

Neil S
Operations Director at QK-TEX

“Our experience has been positive, and it was definitely worth switching. The support we have received has been extremely helpful. My favourite feature is the integration and automation capabilities.”

Philippos F
Head of Digital Transformation at CPL

Questions

What lighting manufacturers ask us

Can it handle electronic and mechanical assembly in one job?

Yes. A single routing runs board assembly, wiring, housing build, optics and final test as consecutive operations. Each stage is tracked with its own materials, time and quality data, so the whole luminaire sits in one build record rather than split across two systems.

How do we trace LED and driver batches?

Batches are recorded when components are issued to the job, not typed up later. Every fitting carries the LED lot, driver revision and optic batch it was built from. If a supplier raises a concern, you can list the affected fittings and where they were shipped.

Can we manage luminaire configurations without duplicating everything?

Yes. Each configuration is held as its own BOM and routing, while shared parts stay as single stock items. Changing output, colour temperature, finish or control gear becomes a defined variant rather than a note on the works order that someone has to interpret.

Where do test and certification records live?

With the job. Dynamic data capture fields are set per operation for electrical safety results, functional test readings and serial numbers. Any field can be made mandatory, so the operation cannot close until the data is entered and the record is complete before the fitting is packed.

How long until we are live?

Ninety days from kick-off. We configure routings, work centres and test fields around your existing build process and approvals, so the system matches how you already assemble and certify fittings rather than asking your team to work a different way.
