What happens when a BOM revision lands mid-build?
Jobs already released keep the snapshot of the spec they were released against, so they finish on the correct revision. New jobs pick up the updated BOM, and you can deploy a change to open work orders deliberately when you want them updated.

Yes. Batch and serial numbers are captured at goods-in and carried through allocation and consumption, so every finished build has a component-level record behind it for recalls, audits and warranty claims.
How does kitting work?
